Taken this early in the morning outside the hotel. I can drive too!!! Another one stretch of shopping arcade Train Station This train is so OLD!!! It's only meant for tourists to experience the ride. Japan Takashimaya Ding Ding Ding!!! Lunch Time After lunch, we went to take a look at those rich people's houses. Mostly are vacant. It's like a heritage area. I will always remember this door. After I took a pic of it, it opened and I got a shock it's a lady. LOL!! Moshi Moshi!! Most actors and actresses came over here for filming. Cute dolls, cost 3000 Yen for a pair. It's time for X'mas Off to watch the famous DANCE PERFORMANCE Awa-odori Dance Before Awa Odori became and important tourist attraction about 50 to 60 years ago, it was mainly for personal enjoyment and not for show. After the Second World War, people still remembered traditional dance and they modernized it little by little. The dance tradition was one of the most important traditions which survived the war and continued to the present day. Awa Odori has different styles for men and women. In man's dance, hands move repeatedly following a rhythm with two beats. Basic movement from earlier times remains but there are now many variations. This guy is explaning to us the dance steps. Normally after their performance, they will invite audiences to go up on stage and dance together with them.
