After the Second World War, people still remembered traditional dance and they modernized it little by little. The dance tradition was one of the most important traditions which survived the war and continued to the present day. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Awa Odori has different styles for men and women. In man's dance, hands move repeatedly following a rhythm with two beats. Basic movement from earlier times remains but there are now many variations. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting This guy is explaning to us the dance steps.
